Growth and Teaching
As believers we need to be intentional about growing spiritually. It simply doesn't happen on its own. We have to desire to grow, and then put it into practice.
A farmer doesn't put a seed in the ground and think his work is done—instead he provides daily care and nurture to produce the fruit of his labor. Likewise God is ready to grow us into spiritual maturity as we spend daily time with Him.
Spiritual growth isn't based on how much we pray, how much we learn, or even how many good things we do. Rather our growth is measured by how much we are conformed to the image of Christ.
