Jesus Commands Us To Go and Serve Those in Need

iheart Raleigh is a day where our Student Ministry joins with Crossroad's ministry partners throughout Wake County serving those in our community, displaying the love of Jesus in a practical way. Our goal is to bring awareness to serving people in our own backyard!

We will divide into teams by grade, each team having a morning and afternoon opportunity to serve in different venues of community outreach. After our day of service, we will gather at the Millbrook Campus Student Center for dinner and a time of worship and celebration.

Cost is $10 per student and includes transportation and dinner. Please bring a bag lunch. Coolers will be provided.

CRF Student Ministry Missions Plan

Local - Throughout each year we will offer three days called "iHeart Raleigh". During these days, we will partner with local agencies and offer opportunities for students from 5th-12th grade to serve our local area.

Regional - Starting in 2014, we will offer a missions trip within driving distance. These trips will provide an opportunity for students from 5th-12th grade (5-6th grade with a parent) to serve in another city.

National and International - Starting in 2014, we will offer a national or international short term missions trip.  This trip will include 8 weeks of training and team building.  It will be offered only to students 10-12th grade.

*As we put this plan together, we realized that our previously promoted "I Heart Chicago" trip for Middle School Students does not fit this model.  We have decided that for 2013, we will only take one National missions trip to Chicago and it will be open to 9-12th graders.
