    Crossroads Fellowship, Millbrook Campus

    Crossroads is excited to host this year’s Joy Prom, a special event for people 16 and older with developmental and/or physical challenges. Guests will receive star-quality treatment including a chance to get their shoes shined, makeup done, receive a boutonniere or corasage, walk the red carpet, have their picture taken, eat a fabulous dinner and dance the night away with friends! It will be an amazing night to celebrate our friends with special needs. We may even get a visit from the king of Rock n' Roll!

    Want to help make an impact at this incredible event? There are many ways you can help make this a wonderful evening for the 400+ anticipated guests of honor!

    Volunteer postions include:
    • Guest host
    • Glamour Area (Shoe Shining, Makeup, Boutonniere/Corsage)
    • Photography
    • Food (Preparation, Serving)
    • Greeting Parents and Caregivers
    • Decorating
    • Clean Up
    • And so much more!

    There is a place for EVERYONE to volunteer. Training will be provided. Students under 16 years old are asked to volunteer with a parent.

    Help make an impact in the lives of hundreds of area teens and adults with special needs at this spectacular night of dinner and dancing!

    Interested in serving but can't attend Joy Prom? Want to make an impact behind the scenes? We have a plethora of items that we need to make this a night to remember for our guests. Below you will find a list of donatable items needed for the evening.

    Pinky’s Parlor Pack (12 packs needed):
    A pack includes 1 of each:
    Q-tip package
    Bag of cotton balls
    Roll of paper towels
    Multicolor pack of eye shadow
    Multicolor pack of blush
    Lip gloss or sm. tub of Vaseline
    Glitter body lotion
    Hair spray
    Fancy hair accessories (ie. tiaras, jeweled bobby pins, flower clips, decorative barrettes)

    Route 66 Shoe Shine Kit (4 kits needed):
    A kit includes 1 of each:
    White tennis shoe cleaner
    Tub of black shoe polish
    Tub of browb shoe polish
    Cloths for shoe shining
    Plastic shoe box with lid to contain items
    2 packs of sunglasses

    Additional items:
    Set of 8 tiaras (4 sets needed)
    Bead necklaces (Mardis-gras type)
    Gift cards for Sam’s/Wal-Mart (they are interchangeable)

    Food Items (no peanut products, please):
    Case of small water bottles (no specified amount but we need plenty)
    Bags of chips
    Homemad baked goods (cookies, bars, cupcakes)
    Individually wrapped snacks (ie. Little Debbies, Cheezits, pretzels, etc.)
    2 Liter Soda

    GAiN - Summer Family Mission Trip
    June 18-22  |  For All Ages

    Join other Crossroads individuals and families as we serve together at the GAiN (Global Aid Network) Logistical Center in Lancaster, PA the week of June 18-22. We will pack school supplies, clothes, blankets, shoes, seeds, food and make gospel bead bracelets, blankets, etc. It is truly a wonderful experience to serve God’s people around the world as you fellowship with your family and meet new friends.

    Dig deeper into what it means to step up and live a courageous life with Stepping Up: A Call to Courageous Living Video Series. Based on his book by the same title, Dennis Rainey, along with Matt Chandler, Bill Bennett, Tony Dungy, Robert Lewis, Voddie Baucham, Stu Weber, and others unpack what biblical manhood looks like and what it means to be a godly, courageous man in today's world.

    Through engaging stories, expert teaching, humorous vignettes, man-on-the-street interviews, and personal insights, these men's ministry leaders call every man to become courageous leaders in their own lives, marriages, churches, and communities. Accompanied by small-group discussion and individual follow-up exercises, men of every age will learn action tools for gospel-centered living to empower them to be true heroes in their families and communities.
