    Calling all Crossroads Men! Join us for a half-day Men’s Ministry Conference on Saturday, March 14. This event is for men of all ages including teenagers.

    We will gather for breakfast (catered by Canon Catering), fellowship, a challenging message and breakout sessions. Snacks will also be provided. We hope you will come be a part!

    11 - Breakout Sessions (Multiple speakers/sessions)

    Wednesday, January 22 – Depression. Our guest speaker is local Christian Psychiatrist Dr. Peter Van Dyck, MD. Dr. Van Dyck has been in private practice in Raleigh since 1987. He was Medical Director of the Minirth-Meier/New Life Treatment Program at Holly Hill Hospital and later the Clinical Director of the Adult Inpatient Program at the same hospital. 


    Wednesday, February 26 – Suicide Prevention. *Meeting in the Chapel at the Millbrook Campus. Our guest speaker is Dr. Pamela Perkins, PsyD. Dr. Perkins earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School in Wheaton, Illinois. Her Undergraduate degree in Theology and Education is from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois. Dr. Perkins has extensive experience in conducting psychological assessments as well as therapy, and is the Director and Owner of Perkins Counseling & Psychological Services in Wake Forest.


    Wednesday, March 25 – Anxiety. Our guest speaker is Julie Sams, LPC, owner of Bowman Family Services and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience working with families and anxiety. Julie has presented at state conferences and local parenting venues on the topic of childhood anxiety. She understands the dangers of over-thinking and strives to help others with anxiety as a therapist.


    Wednesday, April 22 – Trauma. Our guest speaker is Bill Venable, LPC, Co-Founder and President of LifeCare Counseling and Coaching, which has been in existence since 1997. The treatment of trauma is a large part of his practice and Bill has a passion to bring healing to those who are fractured and deeply broken in their souls. Bill has experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is a newer technique in treating trauma.

    Only by knowing God and applying His truth can we be fully alive, fully human and fully relational. Whether new to the Bible or a seasoned reader, we will explore Scripture together in small-group discussion and learn how the truths of Scripture can be applied to our daily lives.

    *This Bible Study is for all men ages 16+. This year's study will be on the book of Acts. There is no registration necessary.
