Authority. What comes to mind when you think of this word? For some, this word is antithetical to anything good. It has the connotation of power that is often usurped and misused. Today, our generation seems to oppose all kinds of authority, whether it is related to any mode of parenting, politics, church, job, or anything that may have any power over our individual lives.

    However...

    • What if there was a different way to think about authority?
    • What if we were to tell you that authority can be good when used in its proper place and context?
    • What if the key to your success spiritually, professionally, and relationally was related to how you view and submit to authority?
    • And what if I told you that you also have been given certain authority?

In Jesus we find the ultimate example of how we are to live our lives under the authority  of our parents, government and ultimately God. One of Jesus' greatest phrases, as it relates to His relationship with God, is given to us at the Garden of Gethsemane: "Not my will but yours be done" (Luke 22:42). Jesus was completely obedient even to the point of death...what a resolve! We believe the best way to live is under the authority of God. Jesus wants to be both our Savior and our Lord! When we discover what it truly means to have Jesus as our Lord, our lives change...we are not only blessed but we become more and more like what God created us to be!

Come and join us for an amazing weekend as we discover the freedom you and I can have when we live under the authority of the all-loving, all-compassionate and all-wise God of the universe! You will for sure have a great time of fun, teaching, laughter and joy! Plus, you'll get to go to one of the most beautiful places in North Carolina...Black Mountain!

All of this for only $99! ($206 value) *Price includes lodging and all meals. Transportation not provided.

Space is limited so be sure to register today!
