The Fiery Serpent

No matter how often we rebel or take matters into our own hands, God longs to redeem us. In his sermon, "The Fiery Serpent," Senior Pastor Andy George discusses how in the book of Numbers, the Israelites lived out a similar pattern of impatience, rebellion, consequences, and the mercy and redemptive love of God. God used judgment through fiery serpents, yet ultimately provided a way for healing through the bronze serpent. This is a foreshadowing of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who offers salvation to all who look to Him in faith. The "thread of promises" woven through this passage reminds us of God's unwavering desire to redeem His people.
