At Crossroads Fellowship, we believe in following Jesus’ example by serving both our church family and the greater Triangle community. Volunteers are a crucial part of how we accomplish this. Volunteers don't simply fill roles—they build connections and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those they serve.

Volunteering is an opportunity to discover your spiritual gifts, share God’s love in tangible ways, and assist our ministry teams in carrying out the Great Commission—right here at our campuses.

Where You Can Serve

In our ministries, every role matters—and each one presents a chance to participate in God’s work here. Read about our volunteer opportunities and needs below, then fill out our Serve Form to get connected to the ministries you feel called to.
At Crossroads Kids, we teach children from birth through 4th and 5th grade about Jesus in safe, creative, and age-appropriate environments each week. Whether you’re caring for babies in the nursery, playing and teaching in preschool, building relationships in elementary, or helping them dive deeper into God’s Word in our Precepts classes, you can make a difference in our youngest people’s lives.

If you’re someone who loves children, brings a caring and encouraging presence, and has a heart for pointing the next generation toward Jesus in ways they’ll understand, we’d love to have you serve with Crossroads Kids!
Mix56 is a Millbrook Campus initiative that gives 5th and 6th graders their own space for community at a unique stage in life. Our volunteers lead games and teach breakout groups. More than that, they help students build friendships, grow in their faith, and feel known and valued as they are beginning to learn who God has made them to be.

If you have a heart for the next generation and the desire to engage them in the kind of complex faith conversations that come with this pivotal life stage, we’d love to have you serve with Mix56!
Crossroads Students is committed to helping middle and high schoolers become fully devoted followers of Christ through connection, spiritual growth, and service. Depending on the campus, volunteers can expect to welcome students, lead breakouts, and even host Crews in their homes. More than that, they form relationships with students of all ages, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate the ever-changing middle and high school years.

If you have a heart for the next generation, a fun-loving yet grounded presence, and the desire to lead them toward Christ, we’d love to have you serve with Crossroads Students!
Crossroads College Ministry strives to be a place where 18- to 24-year-olds can belong and become who God has called them to be. Our college students meet every Wednesday night for community, discipleship, and co-ed small groups—all of which volunteers play a part in.

We're looking for leaders that can guide college students in deep spiritual discussions, bring encouragement in a key life season, and invest in the next generation on a personal, adult level. If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you join the Crossroads College Ministry leadership!
Crossroads’ Adult Ministries invite people of all ages and life stages into a diverse, Christ-centered community united by faith, fellowship, and spiritual growth. One of the main ways we cultivate this community is through our weekly connection opportunities—including Spark Groups, small groups, and classes. Our volunteers lead various groups across campuses and pour into the people around them.

If you have a passion for connection and discipleship and a desire to open your home, guide discussions, or simply create a space for others to belong, we’d love to have you serve with us!
Be one of the first friendly faces people see at Crossroads! Whether you’re greeting guests, answering questions, helping people find a seat, or directing traffic and parking, Crossroads’ Connections team helps people feel seen, valued, and connected. Our volunteers are often the first congregation members visitors encounter—which means they help shape how people first experience our church.

If you are passionate about getting to know others, inviting them into community, and continually reflecting the love and care of Christ, we’d love to have you serve with us!
Like Connections, our Hospitality team helps create a warm and welcoming environment by greeting guests, serving coffee, and making people feel at home in our buildings. This team builds connections and community through our Missions Café and Volunteer Central, as well as providing support at various events—most often during our major faith holidays—throughout the year.

If you enjoy supporting the often-unseen needs of the church and creating warm, inviting environments where people can connect and belong, we’d love to have you serve in Hospitality!
The Worship teams at both campuses are committed to leading our Sunday services with a servant’s heart. Whether singing or playing an instrument, our volunteers’ presence on stage helps create an environment where people can encounter God. Behind the scenes, our Production volunteers also steward this environment through sound, lighting, live-streaming, and tech support—creating a seamless worship experience that allows people to focus on God.

If you have musical or technical gifts, a heart for worship, and a desire to help others feel the Lord’s presence more personally, we’d love to have your serve with us!
Our Photography team captures the life and community of Crossroads through creative storytelling. Our volunteers support Sunday services, holiday seasons, and events throughout the year by documenting the people and moments that shape our church. More than that, their work helps highlight the community God has built within our walls and invites the larger Triangle into connection with our church family.

If you have a creative eye, a passion for authentic storytelling, and a desire to capture and preserve the work of the Holy Spirit, we’d love to have you serve with us!
Our Care Ministries support, strengthen, and encourage people in the midst of challenging seasons by offering practical steps forward—and the hope of Jesus Christ. Our volunteers are involved in hands-on, emotionally impactful ministry—from serving new or struggling married couples, to helping people find freedom from past hurts, habits, and addictions, to walking alongside those dealing with grief and searching for a way forward. This team's work is deeply relational, requiring compassion, attentive listening, and the ability to discern and respond thoughtfully to individual needs.

If you have a heart for those who are hurting, a deep well of wisdom, and a desire to bring Christ’s healing presence to the people who need Him most, we’d love to have you serve with our Care team.
Our Special Needs Ministry is dedicated to serving individuals of all ages who need this extra support. Our volunteers help create a welcoming church environment for people with special needs by leading specialized classes or serving as shadow buddies for those able to participate in their age group’s programming. More than that, their care makes worship, community, and spiritual growth more accessible for individuals with special needs and their families—allowing them to participate fully in their faith.

If you have a heart for this population and a desire to help them encounter God exactly as they are, we’d love to have you on the Special Needs team!
Prayer is one of the primary ways we entrust our present and future needs to the Lord—and our Prayer Ministry leads us in doing just that. Throughout the week, our volunteers meet at our campuses to pray over our church, our ministries, and our community. They also speak over the specific requests we receive, remaining attentive and responsive to the ongoing needs of our church family.

If you are sensitive to the needs of others and passionate about interceding for them, we’d love to have you serve with one of our Prayer teams!
At Crossroads, we seek to steward all that God has entrusted to us—from our buildings and spaces to the people who gather within them. Our Decor & Design volunteer teams help us transform our rooms, hallways, and displays during major faith seasons, ensuring our facilities reflect the warmth and welcome we want visitors to feel. Our Safety and Emergency Response teams provide similar support—helping maintain a secure and protected environment for all guests, volunteers, children, and staff.

If you enjoy creating environments that help people feel welcomed, secure, and connected, we’d love to have you join one of our Facilities teams!
