Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry of Crossroads Fellowship exists to encourage and support ladies - no matter what season or circumstance - to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe this happens best when we Connect to one another and Grow in Christ; as well as Serve in the church and the community together. By doing this, we find a sense of belonging to God and one another, enabling us to become all we are in Christ, and equipping us to bless others with love, grace and the truth of Jesus Christ!

    Women's Studies & Groups - Millbrook

In a large church, it can be difficult to find a way to connect with other believers outside of worship. Joining an interest group, class or small group is a great way to find a place to plug in, belong, and grow in your relationship with Christ and other women.

    Small Groups
Small Groups meet in homes around Raleigh and Wake Forest. If you are interested in joining or starting a small group, click HERE.

    Women's Study - With-God Life
    Wednesdays
    6:30 - 8pm  |  Rm 767
This group is designed to offer women guidance in gaining greater intimacy with God as we move toward Christ-likeness. This Fall we will be learning how to move from captivity to being captivated with Jesus. Thought provoking questions will guide our discussion each week. No homework.

    Women's Study - Growing Together
    Wednesdays
    6:30 - 8pm  |  Rm 766
We're continuing our Fall with Christine Caine's, Unexpected. Most of us want to have life under control. But God wants us to anticipate the unexpected with a faith deeply rooted in his goodness. He wants us to know that because he is in control, we don’t have to be. In Unexpected, beloved author Christine Caine helps us walk into the life God has for us—unknowns and all.

Our weekly format uses both DVD, small group discussion and weekly homework to grow closer in our relationship with God and each other.

    Hosea by Jennifer Rothschild

The book of Hosea--it's a deeply personal and passionate love story, yet it's a difficult story. As an account full of harsh judgment unfolds, we find in its midst a rare and pure gem: the truest and purest of loves.

Hosea, an old-testament prophet, preached his own life message using his marriage as the sermon illustration. The study of Hosea looks deeply at that message. It provides background to better understand the intricacies of the man and his message. You'll be guided to understand, but more especially to apply the message of the prophet of love.
The book will challenge us with judgment so harsh it will singe our hair--an unheeded sermon warning of devastating doom shortly to come. But it will show us the kind of love we dream about. Be amazed by the love of Hosea for his wayward spouse--and more amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people. Hosea showers us with hope--hints and portents pointing to the coming of the promised Messiah.

    Books are available through Amazon.

    Women's Small Groups

Women are equipped within the context of Biblical community in our Women's Small Groups. These groups meet throughout our community at various times throughout the week and focus on Connecting, Growing, Serving, Praying and Giving together.

Each group is uniquely designed, according to the passions and gifts of the leader. Some groups may meet weekly for Bible study, while others may meet twice monthly to serve and connect with a devotion over lunch. Regardless, each group's goal is the same — to help you become a fully devoted woman of God!

Use our Group Finder Tool to find a group:

Would you like to host or lead a small group?

MOPS is for mothers of children from infancy through six years old. Our goal in MOPS is to equip you to handle the joys and challenges of life as a mom. MOPS is a great place for mothers find friendship and acceptance, develop mothering skills, and promote spiritual growth. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire—to be the best mothers they can be. Child care is available during each meeting beginning at 9:15am. Children are lovingly cared for in age-appropriate classes with games, crafts, songs, Bible stories and a snack.

This year's theme is "Find Your Fire." We will stop inhaling the fumes of our mistakes that tell us we are not enough - not good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, and instead choose to tend our God-given fire. We will learn to live expectantly, surrender daringly and breathle freely. We will hold up a torch that sheds light on what matters most.

Crossroads MOPS welcomes women from throughout the community. You do not need to be a member of Crossroads Fellowship to join Crossroads MOPS. There is a $31.95 MOPS International fee, plus an additional $60 fee to cover child care, craft and other expenses due at the first meeting of each semester. Visit our Crossroads MOPS blog and find out what we're up to locally! Also visit the MOPS International web site for more information about the organization.

Your Kids Are Growing, and We Are Too!

We are officially launching a blend of MOPS and MOMSnext at Crossroads. This new extension of MOPS is for all mothers of school-age kids to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.

This MOMSnext small group will meet at Crossroads Fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays with MOPS. The MOMSnext group will have brunch and crafts with our MOPS group. Many speakers and topics will still be relevant to this group; but there will also be opportunities for separate discussions unique to moms with older children. This Group will enjoy mom's nights out, lunch or coffee dates, and time for children to socialize together!

    CBS - Community Bible Study

    Community Bible Study (CBS)

    Thursdays
    9:45 - 11:30am  |  Great Room, Millbrook Campus

    *Resumes in September 6th

Community Bible Study (CBS) provides individual study, small group discussions, effective teaching and fellowship. From September through May, CBS offers morning classes for women and children. CBS is open to women of all ages and denominations. The study for 2018-2019 focuses on the book of Matthew.

Matthew is the gospel with the most complete record of what Jesus taught, including the Sermon on the Mount. Written to his fellow Jews, Matthew's gospel proves, through Scripture, that Jesus' life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. It also answers the question on the mind of many of Matthew's peers, "If Jesus is the King of the Jews, the where is God's promised kingdom?"

CBS combines individual study, encouraging discussion, effective teaching, and insightful commentary in a caring community where each member is supported.

    Registration & Fees
To register for CBS, complete the attached forms below, and email or mail to Karen Charny.

Registration fees are $35 per adult / $10 for children.

Visit the CBS web site for more information.
