Nehemiah
Rise Up!
There is a growing sense of momentum building in our church each week. We see it in our attendance and participation, and in the growing anticipation of what God will do. As we continue exploring Threads of Redemption, a beautiful and powerful picture is taking shape—a picture of a God who is both deeply loving and passionately committed to His people. He is a God who cares about both the big and the small details of our lives. He desires to redeem His people to Himself, and He longs not only to work through us but also to work with us.
As we looked at the book of Nehemiah this past Sunday, we saw how great things happen when we partner with God in His mission. We were challenged to rise up with God and with one another to fulfill that mission. What made that lesson even more impactful was the immediate opportunity we had to live out our mission. Hundreds of people across both campuses served together—tracing, cutting, and packing Luo Pads for UNTO. What an incredible, hands-on opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of women thousands of miles away.
I want to both encourage and challenge you in two specific ways this week:

I want to both encourage and challenge you in two specific ways this week:
- Pay attention to where God is at work around you. Who is searching for purpose and hope in your workplace, school, or neighborhood?
- Prayerfully consider how you can join Him. How might you partner with God—and perhaps with others—to participate in what He is doing? What are some practical ways you can show His love by serving others?
